01 — The Estate

Your Own Private
Caribbean Island

Tea Table Key is one of the most extraordinary private estates in the Florida Keys — a fully gated, 15-acre island jutting into the blue-green waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Connected to the Overseas Highway by a 2,000-foot private driveway at Mile Marker 79.7 in Islamorada, the island offers the rare combination of complete seclusion and genuine accessibility.

The main residence features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame wraparound open-water views from every room. A separate one-bedroom, one-bath living quarters adjoins the pool house — ideal for additional guests or event staff. The compound also includes a private pool, cabana, deep-water dockage, and a helipad.

From the expansive master suite on the second floor, sunrises and sunsets paint the horizon in colors that no photograph fully captures. Views extend to the iconic Alligator Reef Lighthouse and miles of open Atlantic water in every direction.

04 — History

A Thousand Years
of Island History

Tea Table Key is one of the most historically significant private islands in the Florida Keys. Archaeological evidence confirms that Native Americans inhabited this island for over a thousand years, relying on the surrounding waters and abundant marine resources of the Upper Keys.

In 1722, the island appeared on early charts as "Boys Island." By December 1838, during the Second Seminole War, Lieutenant Coste established a Naval base here — Fort Paulding — named in honor of the Secretary of the Navy. The fort served as a strategic depot in the conflict that shaped the history of South Florida.

Today, Tea Table Key stands as a private estate of rare character — a place where the deep history of the Florida Keys is woven into the landscape itself. That layering of natural beauty and genuine heritage is what makes a celebration here feel more meaningful than any conventional venue.
